In 2023, World Faith Youpeda embarked on a journey of empowerment that directly impacted the lives of 25 Christian and Muslim women while indirectly supporting over 100 more in managing farms and small-scale businesses across two communities. Despite facing formidable challenges, including skyrocketing costs of farming essentials compounded by inflation, the community's unwavering dedication has yielded remarkable results.
Our collective efforts manifested in abundant yields across our harvests, crops, and investments for the first time in three years. Notably, our sweet potatoes alone produced approximately five bags, marking a significant milestone in our journey. Despite the unpredictable fluctuations in market prices, we've navigated through these obstacles with resilience and determination, driven by our commitment to fostering lasting change.
Though our path has been fraught with challenges, our resolve remains unshakeable. Through steadfast dedication and unwavering commitment, World Faith Youpeda continues to make a tangible difference in women's lives in rural communities, empowering them to thrive amidst and create community through interfaith dialogue.
