Bouganda Youth Council & Child and Elderly Support Organization

The Child and Elderly Support Organization "(CESO)" is an initiative that started in 2006 implemented by young people with passion to transform the lives of young people who live under horrible and hard life conditions. CESO focuses on giving education to vulnerable children and developing their talents, as well as supporting elderly care.

The Buganda Youth Council "(BYC)" was established in 1994 after the restoration of the Buganda Kingdom Monarchy. It is an umbrella body that brings together numerous youth associations of various settings from the central region of Uganda to lead regional development through sustainable youth-led initiatives. The council if formed by young people from the various counties of Buganda. The BYC comprises of an executive committee that represents all issues concerning gender and other society affiliations.

Both CESO and BYC seek to transform the communities of Buganda through specific activities ranging from mobilizing, organizing, and empowering young people of different faiths and communities to lead development projects and serve their own communities. Project focuses are agriculture and education. BYC is the best organized and well established youth body in Uganda, and has the resources to mobilize and organize young people to initiate positive political, social, and economical change.

CESO and BYC aim at building a spirit of “unity in diversity” among young people from different faith backgrounds towards a common dream. We encourage young people to live harmoniously in coexistence, we teach them their responsibility towards their region and their country, we empower them with basic skills to lead a sustainable life, and we organize tours under the guidance of the Buganda Ministry of Youth. BYC is a platform that trains young people both literate and illiterate a spirit of volunteerism and sacrifice for the greater good.

World Faith Uganda´s cardinal focus is to build a sustainable development rooted in the principles of unity in diversity and diversity in unity. We are committed to our country’s growth, development, and stability through youth-led initiatives.
